Tobermory distillery is situated on the island of Mull and is produces two very different single malts. The eponymous Tobermory whisky is lightly peated while the Ledaig, the former name for the distillery, has a phenol content of between 30-40ppm. Owned by Burn Stewart Distillers it is an important distillery for both Scottish Leader and Black Bottle blends.
