Another interesting experiment from the Bangalore distillers. Amrut have aged this spirit for three years in bourbon casks before having it transferred into custom built chimeric casks (made with five different stave types) for a further three and a half years.
Oloroso Sherry Wood, New French Oak, New American Oak, New Spanish Oak and Pedro Ximenez Sherry staves all play a part in the the maturation of this fascinating whisky.
