Lot number: 067-1340

Winning bid: £145

Bruichladdich was established in 1881 and has changed hands many times over the years. Owned by French spirit group Remy Martin Bruichladdich distill, mature and bottle their whisky on site as well as using barley from the surrounding farms.

Since their renaissance in 2001 their range of whiskies are bottled without added colour or chill filtration and at 46% ABV and above. They are pioneers of cask management, peating levels and presentation.

This is the last Feis Ile bottling from Jim McEwan and it is the culmination of his Black Arts journey where Jim creates magic from the very secret blending process.

In keeping with Bruichladdich's Hoe Down theme this bottling is called High Noon.

There is very little information about the whisky other than the fact that the whisky in the bottle would be 134 years old if added together.

48.7% ABV / 50cl

Bottle Number: 97 / 1,881
