Winning bid: £55.00
Lot number: 067-1964

Established in 1775, Glenturret is considered the oldest working distillery in Scotland, although there are some who dispute this. It is also home to some of the most traditional working practices in Scotland. For example, it has the only mash tun that has to be stirred by hand. It is also the home of the Famous Grouse Experience Visitor Centre which is one of the most modern and highly thought of tourist attractions in the whisky world.

This bottle of Light Highland Liqueur has a picture of Towser, Glenturret's mouse catcher, who has her name in the Guinness Book of Records as the World Mousing Champion with 28,899 mice to her name.
