The only distillery in Scotland doing 100% triple distillation, Auchentoshan takes one of the smallest cuts in the business (82 - 80%) and is one of the last remaining Lowland distilleries.

James MacArthur was established in 1982 and selected whiskies from Scottish distilleries which were either not very well known or had ceased to operate and bottling them at cask strength. It has since expanded into other distillery bottlings.
