The great-grandson of one of Adelphi's distillery's founders, Jamie Walker, established the modern day Adelphi independent bottler in 1993, selling the company to Keith Falconer and Donald Houston in 2004.
Whiskies are selected by a nosing team chaired by whisky critic Charles MacLean.
Built in 1896 and powered by a steam engine until 1969, Aultmore's whisky is primarily used for Dewar's White Label. Completely rebulit in the 1970s, the faithful engine that once powered the distillery 365 days a year now sits in the distillery's reception.
