Lot number: 069-0529

Winning bid: £150

Integral to J&B, Strathmill is rarely bottled as a single malt and this has been the case for most of its life. In fact the first bottling of Strathmill as a single malt was over 100 years after its birth. Originally a mill it was converted into a distillery in 1891 and since then has lived a fairly uneventful life going about the business of distilling for blends.

This was bottled for staff in celebration of Strathmill's Centenary. Designed to be a replica of whisky that was bottled in the 1940s and it has the original price (12/6) and tax (8/5).

40% ABV / 75cl
