Made from more than 60 year old whiskey barrels of American oak. The American Bourbon barrels are short for approximately 3-5 years in the USA in use. Afterwards they come to Scotland, where they are used several times in succession (about 60 years and longer) for the finest single malt whiskeys. During the ripening process, the whiskey soaks the wood before giving it Smokewood as a unique flavor to your food.
