A hand blown lead crystal decanter encases the precious liquid. No expense spared here as the decanter is lavishly inlaid with 24 carat gold, creating a simple but striking design. Each decanter is individually numbered and comes with a crystal stopper. A drawer in the bottom of the case includes a booklet and bronze card bearing the decanter number.
The whisky? Oh yes, right well this Glenfiddich is deliciously smooth and the colour of rich gold. A wood spiciness imparted by sherry butts, complemented by layers of creamy vanilla and rich flavours of caramelised fruits.
It has won a handful of awards to date, including Gold Medal at the International Spirit challenge in 2013.
