Lagavulin's 2015 Feis Ile bottling was the oldest ever bottled for the Feis and followed the trend of Diageo releasing triple matured whisky. This was the whisky everyone was talking about for 2015 festival. Limited to 3500 bottles, it was such a hit that not even warehouse manager, Ian McArthur, had enough for the tastings! Rumour has it that there were some major strings pulled to allow such a fantastic release to be bottled for the Feis. We even took a bottle to the Jewbilee in New York and it was the belle of the ball there too. So thanks Lagavulin for creating such a beauty and the guys at Diageo HQ for letting us mere mortals have a chance to try this 24 year old!
