Lot number: 072-0776
Winning bid: £560
Still a family owned company, Camus sold mainly to the Tzars of Russia until the revolution. They managed to avoid bankruptcy in the 1960s by striking a deal with American traders under the name of "Duty Free Shoppers", a relationship which is as strong today as it was back in the 1960
They say you've never really experienced Cognac until you've tried it from a porcelain egg, inlaid with 22 karat gold leaf.
No stated ABV or bottle size. We estimate the size to be approximately 35cl.
Please examine all images of the lot, any packaging and labels carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid.
