The oldest distillery on Islay, Bowmore has been described as the Grande Dame of the island. It still has its own floor maltings which make up about 30% of its requirements. Its No. 1 vaults are the oldest maturation warehouse in Scotland and the only one below sea level.
An exclusive bottling of Bowmore to acknowledge the 50th anniversary of the original company Stanley P. Morrison Limited. This bottle was presented to guests at a dinner to celebrate the occasion at Blair Castle on Saturday 25th August 2001.
