Winning bid: £900.00
Lot number: 073-3659

The Rare Malts are a series of Diageo cask-strength releases, designed to show off some of the lesser known whiskies in its empire. Now discontinued, they are much sought after by collectors. All bottlings are cask strength, and un-chillfiltered.

Another victim of the terrible cull of 1983, Glenlochy was to be found in the town of Fort William but in 2005 was finally turned into flats. It was built in 1898 but was unable to open until 1901 due to the effects of the Pattison Crash. It lived a fitful life being sold three times between 1934 and 1938 and it released no official bottles during its lifetime.
