The Bordeaux wine region in France is home to some of the most famous appellations in the country - St Emilion, Pauillac, Pomerol and Sauternes to name a few. Within these geographical designations lie some of the most famous and revered wineries in the world.
A neighbour of Pauillac, Saint Julien is on of the left bank's smaller AOC appellations. The Ducru Beaucaillou estate dates back to the 13th century and is one of the oldest in the Medoc.
