Octomore Concept OBA

This ongoing series from Bruichladdich is the most heavily peated whisky in the world. Named after James Brown's farm that is situated above Port Charlotte, this Brobdingnagian whisky deftly lives up to its description as, "The iron fist in the velvet glove".

The story of Octomore OBA Concept begins at Adam Hannet's first masterclass as Head Distiller, which took place at the 2016 Feis Ile. The sample involved was reputedly a richer, more complex beast than previous Octomores, and went on to be released as the OBA. This limited edition keeps it's cards close to its chest regarding cask makeup; preferring to leave it up to your taste buds to discover.
