The Transcontinental Rum Line is a series from La Maison Du Whisky. Comprised of rums from different distilleries, that have been partially matured in their tropical homes before being shipped across the Atlantic Ocean for further maturation in Europe. While this may sound convoluted, it's actually very cost effective as it prevents the greedy tropical angels from getting quite such a monstrous share of the precious spirit.
Line #7
Distilled in the Grande-Terre, located on the island of Guadeloupe, this rum lay in two casks for nine years, before it was moved to Europe and to be aged for a decade.
