The Lost Distillery Company was founded to attempt the re-creation of the flavour and style of historical distilleries that no longer exist.

This whisky is their attempt to replicate the style of whisky which might have been produced at the Towiemore distillery at Botriphnie, Dufftown, which closed in 1931.
