In 1869 the Ripy brothers opened their distillery on Wild Turkey Hill in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Wild Turkey Bourbon got its name in 1940 when distillery executive Thomas McCarthy took samples of the bourbon on a wild turkey hunting trip.
This special limited edition Turkey has been bottled to celebrate Master Distiller Jimmy Russel's 60 year anniversary at the distillery. This is a vatting of 13 to 16 year old barrels.
