Named after the tiny village of Balmaha that nestles on the south east corner of Loch Lomond, this whisky is the brain child of Sandy Fraser, owner of the village pub/restaurant "The Oak Tree Inn". To create the whisky, Sandy teamed up with Burn Stewart's Master Blender, Ian MacMillan, and although we don't know exactly where the whisky is from, Bunnahabhain or Tobermory seem likely candidates.
