Lot number: 079-2339

Winning bid: £240

Originally based in Aberdeen before being bought by the Campbeltown based Mitchell family in 1969, Wm Cadenhead's is the oldest independent bottler in Scotland. Now their flagship Campbeltown premises also functions as the shop and visitor centre for both Springbank and Glengyle distilleries, offering a variety of tours and tastings.

With their own warehouse stocked full of exciting whiskies, rums, cognacs and more; Cadenhead's can always be relied upon to bottle high quality spirits free from artificial colouring and chill filtration.

This "spirit drink" bottled as part of Cadenhead's 175th anniversary celebrations is rumoured to be some rather old whisky from a well known Speyside distillery that has dropped under proof.
