George Willsher founded his whisky business in the city of Dundee in 1864. Aside from whisky, George's main interest was breeding Aberdeen Angus cattle, so it probably wasn't surprising that his flagship blend was somewhat bovine themed.
Over the course of the twentieth century, Black Bull grew into a worldwide brand, and is now owned and operated by Duncan Taylor. These days they release some seriously well aged expressions, blended using a high proportion of malt whisky.
We know it might sound like a cock and bull story, but make no mis-steak, this is an udderly fantastic dram that will have you wanting mooooore!
