Winning bid: £95.00
Lot number: 079-4517

Bunnahabhain started production in 1883 and currently the majority of the spirit it produces is lightly peated, although since 2012 around 20% of the out put has been peated at 35ppm. Sheltered from the Atlantic this lighter Islay whisky has an important role in Cutty Sark as well as Black Bottle, while its standing as a single malt has increased since they dropped colouring, chill filtering and increased the bottling strength to 46.3%ABV.

Eirigh Na Greine (pronounced Ae-ree ne gray-nyuh and meaning ‘Morning Sky’ in Gaelic) is an alluringly complex small-batch single malt Scotch whisky containing a significant proportion of high-quality ex-red wine cask-matured Bunnahabhain whiskies of various ages. Only a limited number of cases are produced every year.

Eirigh Na Greine is a Travel Retail Exclusive.

46.3% ABV / 1L
