Bruichladdich 1977 32 Year Old LXXVII
Lot number: 080-3832
Winning bid: £600
A rare new release from Bruichladdich, this is the second edition in the DNA series. Created by Master Distiller Jim McEwan, this was made using some of the very best casks in the Bruichladdich warehouses distilled in the '80s. These included American oak bourbon and the last of their superb sherry butts. Rich, warning and surprisingly straight-laced, a surefire hit.
