Auchentoshan distillery is one of the few buildings not damaged during the Clydebank Blitz of 1941, though one of it's warehouses wasn't so lucky. In fact the picturesque pond just outside the distillery is in fact a bomb crater.
It remains the only distillery in Scotland doing 100% triple distillation, and one of the very few that is only seen as a single malt.
This lot contains a wonderful Q.E.2 decanter which is accompanied by six crystal tumblers and stopper.
