Glen Mhor 1966 Single Cask #4743 'The Costumes' Moon Import 75cl
Lot number: 083-0510
Winning bid: £680
Another victim of the 1983 cull, Glen Mhor has perhaps the best reputation of the Inverness distilleries that survived until the 1980s (The Inverness Three?). Founded by John Birnie in 1894 when he was refused shares in Glen Albyn, it was the first distillery to use a Saladin box for its malting needs.
This rare bottling is from a highly revered Italian importer. It is part of 'The Costumes' series and features an artist's period impression of historically attired folks on the label.
