This whisky from Bruichladdich is part of its yearly release of cask-strength peated spirit that pays homage to the single malt distilled in the village of Port Charlotte until 1929.
This release, called Oileanach Furachail, refers to the young student observing how the master goes about his work.
The student in this case is Adam Hannett who has been working alongside Jim McEwan since 2006 and is now Head Distiller.
