Cadenhead's Moidart 10 Year Old & Glen Moray 12 Year Old 75cl

This duo consists of a 12 Year Old Glen Moray and a 10 Year Old Moidart distilled and bottled in Scotland.

Glen Moray

Converted from Elgin West Brewery in 1897, the Glen Moray distillery was owned by Glenmorangie plc until it was purchased in 2008 by La Martiniquaise, the second biggest spirits company in France. Highly thought of for blending, it produces a spirit peated to 40ppm for use in blends such as Label 5 and Sir Edward. The distillery also discovered the potential Glen Moray had as a single malt and now the core range has no less than 8 expressions.

Cadenhead's Moidart

Originally based in Aberdeen before being bought by the Campbeltown based Mitchell family in 1969, Wm Cadenhead's is the oldest independent bottler in Scotland. Now their flagship Campbeltown premises also functions as the shop and visitor centre for both Springbank and Glengyle distilleries, offering a variety of tours and tastings.

A blended malt, Moidart takes its name from the first line of a song about Bonnie Prince Charlie.
