Linkwood has been operating for nearly 200 years and enjoys a very high reputation amongst blenders for its light fragrant style that is twinned with a thick texture in the mouth. This is achieved with a long fermentation of 75 hours , and slow distillation in spirit stills that are larger than the wash stills so they can maximise the contact with the copper. The distillery has been expanded several times throughout its history allowing for different experiments on the original production. Bottled for Best Casks of Scotland.
