Big Peat is a small batch vatted Islay malt whisky from Douglas Laing: a shovelful of Islay single malt Scotch whiskies including those distilled at Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore, and Port Ellen, with each bringing different qualities to the blend. A new edition of Big Peat is released to commemorate different events and themes always with the familiar bearded character illustrated on the labels in different guises.
The peatiest blend is back with its 'Edinburgh Edition' packing a mean punch with 40 Peats per minute! (That's a lotta Peats!)
