Lot number: 109-02110
Winning bid: £45
The story of this Tennessee whiskey dates back to pre-civil war times when George A Dickel migrated to the United States and created the "Cascade" brand. During the Prohibition era, Cascade Whisky was allowed to be sold legally as a medicial spirit through leased equipment. It wasn't until as late as 1960s that the distillery was rebuilt and the whisky - spelled without an 'e' in keeping with Scottish tradition - was named after the man himself.
40% ABV / 70cl
