The Transcontinental Rum Line is a series from La Maison Du Whisky. Comprised of rums from different distilleries, that have been partially matured in their tropical homes before being shipped across the Atlantic Ocean for further maturation in Europe. While this may sound convoluted, it's actually very cost effective as it prevents the greedy tropical angels from getting quite such a monstrous share of the precious spirit.

Sharing the same 'bloodline as its brother' - the earlier vintage released by TCRL - and matured for just over two years in Fiji, it was then shipped to Europe to slumber for a further year in the cooler climate, before being bottled in 2018.
