That Boutique-Y Whisky Company bottles Scotch single malt and grain whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with humorous puns presented in cultish comic-book style labels: the purpose is to tell the histories and stories of distilleries or prominent figures in the industry but in a new exciting way. It's not all fun and games though, as they were awarded World's Best Blended Whisky at the 2015 World Whisky Awards.
This is the stunning Batch 7 of That Boutique-Y Whisky Company's Ardbeg -Notice anything different with this batch? Oh yes, that is an age statement, beautiful yellow text stating it is a 12 year old Ardbeg.
The label depicts the world's most famous Ardbeg collector, Geert Bero, the proprietor of the legendary Ardbeg Bar at Hotel Bero. He is shown here reaching up for the Spirit Purifier - the device responsible for Ardbeg's unique flavour. Or maybe he's just patting the still....
