Nidavellir is one of the nine worlds of norse mythology. It is described as a dark place with golden halls. The king in Nidavellir is called Hrei∂mar and because of greed, his son was turned into a dragon - Fafnir - who guards the kings hall. Later Fafnir is killed by Sigurd and his sword "Gram".
