Born in 1850s Scotland and then migrating to Dublin, William Lawson took a job as an export manager and worked his way up to director of E&J Burke's before parting ways but the company later chose to use his name as the registered trademark.William Lawson Whisky Ltd relocated twice to Liverpool then to Coatbridge before becoming William Lawson Distillers and acquiring the Macduff distillery with its single malt marketed as Glen Deveron. Since Bacardi became the parent company in 1993, they began making the William Lawson blend and have gone from strength to strength worldwide.
Created by their Master Blender to celebrate the company's 150th anniversary, this 21 Year Old is described as "exceptionally smooth" and "full bodied".
