Glenkinchie 10, Glen Moray, Tobermory 10

A nice wee trio Known as "The Edinburgh Malt," Glenkinchie is the Lowland whisky in the 'Classic Malts' range, originally released in 1987. It lasted 20 years before being replaced by the 12 year old. 70cl and 43%.

Most of the whisky from Glen Moray has long since been used in blended Scotch. Recently, the Glenmorangie Company decided to cease producing whisky for blending and, in 2008, the distillery was put up for sale.

The unpeated malt from the producers of Ledaig, Tobermory hails from the Isle of Mull and is a more gentle medium-bodied, accessible malt than its peated sister. A good aperitif malt. 70 cl and 40%
