Tamdhu has recently been mothballed. It was founded during the whisky boom of the late 19th century and was taken over by the Highland Distillers group (Edrington).
Single malts from this Speysider are few and far between and have been sold out in most countries. Tamdhu 25 year old Speyside single malt is malty with rich fruit & raisin characteristics.
