Lot number: 017282

Winning bid: £85

From Gordon and MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice Range. Distilled in 1975 and bottled in 200. 70cl and 40%

Glencraig was produced at Glenburgie distillery using Lomond stills between 1958 and 1981. They have since been removed and it is unlikely that it will be ever made again, so the existing bottlings are highly likely to become quite valuable.

The spirit was named after Willie Craig the Ballantines director of Highland Malt Distilleries, making him one of very few people to have a single malt whisky named after them.
