The Macallan Cask 888 debuted in Hong Kong at the Lalique Lounge to fanfare status, as befitting its status as a limited edition single cask single malt. Only 720 bottles in the world, 24 were made available in Hong Kong.
Cask 888 is blessed by a highly fortuitous name, and also by a limited edition decanter handcrafted in cosmetic glass by Stolzle Flaconnag.
The whisky was bottled from a sherry-seasoned European oak cask on 08.08.08.
The highly polished display case contains the decanter, stopper, two Macallan branded glasses and a certificate of authority.
Bottled at the unique strength of 48.8%, bottle no 52. Rear label says only available in Taiwan, although 24 were available in Hong Kong
