Hi folks and welcome to the 30th auction. As usual we have something for everyone - top of the range whiskies, old favourites, new soon-to-be-favourites and our usual mix of easy-buying, easy-drinking drams.

Among the feature bottles this month: Macallan Masters of Photography - a couple of Rankins, an Albert Watson and the incredibly rare Annie Leibovitz., one of only 145 bottles in the world.

Staying with Magnificent Macallans, we have Coronations, Diamond Jubilees, Royal Marriages, a raft of 18s, 25s Gran Reservas, and there's more, an incredible 51 year Macallan from 1948 in a wooden tube. Not forgetting the Macallan Private Eye. And the mini.

There is a lovely Ben Wyvis 1965 37 year old, the final bottling from one of the five remaining casks of the very rare spirit from the Distillery which ceased production in 1976. We have a rare bottling of the 1968 Glendronach 25 year old, from the legendary Air Nippon bottlings, which are said to be the best whiskies ever produced by Glendronach.

For a bit of bling, there's a Glenmorangie Pride 1981 in exclusive decanter and coffret (wee box to you and me). Only 1000 ever released. There's a very limited release 17 year old Laphroaig to celebrate Feis Ile 2004. One of only of 250 bottles, signed by Robin Shields, Distillery Manager at the time. An Oban 32 Year Old. Distilled in 1969 and aged for 32 years before bottling at cask strength, a rare single malt from the Oban distillery.

A magnificent old whisky, rightly proclaimed Pride of Strathspey. Distilled on December 12 1940, a Springbank Millennium and a Millennium with with minis and certificate. A balvenie Rose rare 1st Release. A very special limited release bottle to celebrate the long history of Balvenie Castle, the annual rent of which was fixed at a single red rose in 1460. One of just 426 bottles.

Bowmore? A bottling of casks 4864, 4865 and 4866 matured in the famous Number 1 vault. Bottled as a 27 year old at cask strength. Hand signed by distillery manager Islay Campbell. A legendary bottling from 1979 to celebrate the distillery's bicentenary. Vatted from some wholly exceptional 1960s sherry casks, this is renowned as one of the best Bowmores ever. Fresh from Islay this month are two of this year's Jazz Festival from Lagavulin.

And don't forget our amazing app for all smartphones. No need to rush home from the pub to make your bids!

We could go on, but it's probably best if you just dive in and browse to your heart's content. Enjoy.

Kind regards from Glasgow - The SWA Team
