The Rowan Tree has a special place in Scottish folklore and is believed to ward off evil spirits. The distillers believe that the Rowan trees which surround the Isle of Arran distillery certainly play their part as only the purest spirit is produced. This 1997 distillation has been aged for 12 years in 10 ex-Sherry Butts specially selected by the distillery manager, James MacTaggart.
Bottled at 46%, 70cl in original tube.
