Messers Renton & Co Whisky Mirror £270 Reserve

Robert D. Renton was a grocer/merchant as well as a resident of Marygate, the main shopping street in the town, during the late 1800s to early 1900s. The 1901 census for Berwick upon Tweed lists his occupation as a grocer, but the Rentons were also entrepreneurs who blended, advertised and sold their own brand of whisky.
