This beautiful decanter of whisky is the work Lalique and is the second in a series of three exquisite and old Macallans. Each edition is progressively older, this one being the "middle child" at a modest 55 years old. (The others are 50 and 60 years old.)
Consistently listed in the top 10 most expensive whiskies, this Macallan just oozes luxury. It is entitled "Natural Colour" and was inspired by a design for a perfume bottle by Rene Lalique in 1910. A creative collaboration between Scotland and France, these decanters were all hand blown and only 420 were released world wide.
A particularly rare bottle here at SWA and one that we know will certain catch a few folks' attention!
