A blast from the past, this Glenlivet was distilled during the WWII. A fascinating time capsule that will take you through the WWII, onto the 50's, leading in to the hippie peace loving decade of the 60's, then comes the disco dancing of the 70's and a tiny splash of that 80's perm filled rock. Phew! Quite a journey into this bottle and then into your glass, a real one to savour.

Bottled by Gordon & MacPhail under the label "George & JG Smith Ltd" as a nod to the original ownership of the distillery. The first record of the names being used and registered comes from 1859. George and his son John, were the first to register a legal still, despite their illicit distilling for quite some years prior to that! The rest, as you know, is history...
