Hi folks and welcome to the Roaring Forties! Our 40th auction sees us with our usual stellar array of top-quality collectibles and those easy to buy, easy to drink bottles that all whisky cabinets deserve.

Featured bottles this month include the incredible 50 year old Macallan Millennium, distilled in 1949. That's backed from the Easter Elchies real estate with a 1938 and a 1946 52 year old with certificate and keys. A Fine & Rare from 1951 and the incredible Sir Peter Blake 8 decades collection also make an appearance. And while we're at Easter Elchies, we have the complete EE releases from 2008 to 2013 including the minis - all as one incredible lot!

Talking of age, there's a 32 year old Ardbeg from 1966 courtesy of Cadenhead's, there's a couple of 1976 hand-filled bottles, a 34 year old Bowmore from 1971, a couple of Bi-Centenaries, one of them an extremely rare cask strength, there's a 1939 Old Elgin, a 1939 rum.

We debut a Kawasaki cask from 1980, one of only 60 ever produced, we showcase a Port Ellen Feis Ile from 2008 and a 21 year old Maltings Reserve. and we have a singular Springbank, aged 18 years and bottled for the Special Boat Service's 70th Anniversary.

As well as quality, we have quantity and once again there are plenty of very affordable, very drinkable whiskies on show.

As usual, our advice is sound - dive in and browse away to your heart's content. And remember - don't lose your bottle!

Kind regards from Glasgow - The SWA Team
