Ladies and gentlemen welcome to our 53rd auction. This month sees a truly wonderful number of fantastic bottles which span the range from rare and collectable to curious and drinkable.

First up is a wonderful 60 year old Glenfarclas, this is the first 60 from this highly regarded distillery and it comes with a bespoke travel case for protecting your incredible bottle.

In 1811 the town of Cognac received Napoleon and in the same year, the year of the Flaugergues Comet widely regarded as the greatest vintage for cognac, this amazing Grand Cognac 1811 Fine Napoléon was distilled.

Provanmill is one of the distilleries of Glasgow that very little is written about and this bottle of M. Risk's Royal Vat No. 5 will be one of the last chances to try whisky, albeit blended with others, from this lost distillery.

Mortlach is a distillery with a devout following and in this months auction we have Mortlachs from 1951, 1954, two from 1957 here and here and a relative youngster distilled in 1968.

Springbank has a brings us a wonder quartet from 1954, 1965, 1967 and 1969.

Macallan is once again very represented with rare bottles from Duncan Taylor, 1938, 1940, 1945, 1946, 1951 and an M.

Karuizawa brings us 5 Samurais, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and a 40 year old as well as many other wonderful bottles.

Bowmore has brings us three of its legendary Black bottlings, a Second Edition and two Final Editions here and here. There are 50 year whiskies from Talisker, MacPhail's - this one from 1937!, Glenury Royal, Glenlivet and Glen Grant. We also have a Strathisla that is hoovering around the 57 year old mark!

Phew! After all that there are still bucket loads of great bottles from the world's most famous distilleries and blenders, everyday drinking drams and curiosity piquing bottles from across the globe.
