Lot number: 0541179

Winning bid: £1,050

In August of 2016 internet whisky commentator Ralfy will be attempting up to six World Records in the 250cc motorcycle class at the World Famous Bonneville Salt Flats SpeedWeek in Utah, U.S.A.

Bonneville is home to over 100 years of multiple vehicle world land speed records with 'wheels' as diverse as haulage trucks to rocket-ship streamliners.

As part of an experienced and successful team, Ralfy has the support of skilled engineers and training by a current World Land Speed record holder.

This is no jolly-trip by Ralfy, this is a serious attempt at land speed records. You can follow Ralfy and his Team atsaltywheels.blogspot.com

To help raise the funds towards logistics and transport, Ralfy had provided this one of three varied and very different collectable items, all of which have been personalised in different ways and the sale proceeds will go into the team funds for Mission-Bonneville.

Ralfy said: "Happy bidding malt-mates, and many thanks to scotchwhiskyauctions.com for support and encouragement with this rather hot and speedy malt-mission."

A very limited release to celebrate The Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Beautiful and intricate label with a cameo of Her Majesty. Aged in sherry oak, there were just 2012 bottles released for the celebrations.

Comes with additional box.

This lot includes a handwritten thank you card from Ralfy.

Bottled: 2012

Cask Type: Sherry oak

52% ABV / 70cl

Please examine the images of the bottle, packaging and labels carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid.
