Dalwhinnie 16 Year Old Decanter 75cl

The name Sestante is well known among whisky connoisseurs and collectors. The legendary Italian whisky importer and bottler operated from the late 1970s until early 1990s.

Nowadays Sestante bottlings are extremely hard to find. In 2010 the Silver Seal Company was founded, regarded as the spiritual successor to the brand.

Both brands are currently owned by Massimo Righi, who keeps the original as alive as The Sestante Collection.

This Dalwhinnie 16 years old was bottled for Sestante around 1980 in an old fashioned decanter. The whiskey was distilled some time in the mid 1960s when Dalwhinnie Distillery still operated its own maltings floor.
