Mortlach 70 year old. When it was launched it was the oldest single malt whisky ever released.
Distilled on the 15th of October 1938 the spirit was put into a first fill sherry hogshead where it matured for seventy years.
This tiny vial was part of the presentation pack that was handed out to journalists and dignitaries who attended the launch.
Bottled at 46.1%ABV, it comes with book and USB stick telling the story of this famous dram.
Please examine the images of the bottle, any packaging and labels carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid.
