Octomore from Bruichladdich is the world's most heavily peated whisky. Named for James Brown's farm which sits above Port Charlotte it was also the name of a lost Islay distillery.
The first edition of Octomore, Bruichladdich's mega-peated 5 year old, which weighs in at a staggering 131ppm.
