William Grant founded Balvenie distillery in 1892 using the 18th century mansion known as Balvenie New House. It is built just below Glenfiddich sharing its Robbie Dhu springs water source. The distillery still uses its own floor maltings and locally sourced peat.
The Balvenie 10 year old Founder's Reserve. In cognac bottle. This is the 750ml release.
With thistle seal on neck of bottle. The more recent edition of this (with 10 years on the neck) has already become discontinued. This version is even rarer.
